My Sourdough Story
My name is Michelle. I have been making sourdough and it has become more than just a job and hobby, it has become my everything.
Sourdough didn’t start as a business plan for me.
It started as a need.
A need to slow down.
A need to create something with my hands.
A need to feel like me again outside of work, motherhood, and the never-ending to-do lists.
Like many people, I found sourdough during a season when life felt full but somehow still empty. I was working, raising my family, showing up for everyone — and quietly craving something that was just mine. Sourdough became that thing.
At first, it was messy. Starters died. Loaves flopped. My kitchen looked like a flour bomb went off more than once. But there was something grounding about it — the patience it required, the rhythm of feeding and waiting, the reminder that good things take time.
Eventually, those loaves started turning out pretty incredible. Friends and family noticed. Then neighbors. Then people started asking, “Can I buy this?”
That’s how this microbakery was born — not from perfection, but from persistence.
Every loaf I bake is made with intention: long fermentation, quality ingredients, and the kind of care you can’t rush. This isn’t factory bread. This is bread made in a real home, by a real person, balancing life while choosing to build something meaningful.
My hope is that when you take a bite, you taste more than just good bread. I hope you taste comfort. Simplicity. A little bit of home. The kind of bread that makes you slow down, tear off a piece, and stay at the table a little longer.
Thank you for supporting my small business, my family, and this dream — one loaf at a time.
With gratitude,
Michelle

Indulge in Gluten Free Goodness
Gluten-free shouldn’t mean dry, dense, or disappointing, and here, it never does.
My gluten-free sourdough offerings are thoughtfully crafted using naturally fermented techniques that focus on flavor, texture, and nourishment. Each bake is made with care, patience, and high-quality gluten-free ingredients to create bread that feels just as comforting and satisfying as traditional sourdough.
While I am not a certified gluten-free facility, I take intentional steps to minimize cross-contact and treat every gluten-free bake with the respect it deserves. Since I am gluten-free myself, I understand how important trust, transparency, and care are when it comes to gluten-free food. These loaves are made for those who choose or need to eat gluten-free and still want to enjoy real sourdough; crusty on the outside, soft on the inside, and full of depth and flavor.
My goal is simple: to create comforting, indulgent gluten-free sourdough that brings everyone together to enjoy, and feel at home at the table.
